Profile
A graduate of the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at the Warsaw University of Technology and the doctoral programme at the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences. As a specialist in geodesy and satellite remote sensing, she has spent more than twenty years developing innovative methods and applications based on satellite technologies, particularly for emergency management, disaster response, and environmental change detection. For over a decade, she has served as the scientific coordinator of projects in these fields funded through EU Framework Programmes, the European Space Agency, and EU Structural Funds. She also serves as Deputy Head of the Emergency Information Centre at the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Research area: environmental remote sensing, development and implementation of innovative satellite-based methods and solutions for emergency management, disaster response, and humanitarian assistance.
