Profil

A geophysicist and geologist specializing in the study of the magnetic and geochemical properties of urban dust in the context of environmental pollution and anthropogenic processes. Her research combines magnetic, physicochemical, and statistical methods with artificial neural networks for environmental data analysis and the identification of pollution sources. She is the author and co-author of publications on topics including heavy metal and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) contamination, the magnetic properties of Warsaw street dust, and the application of magnetic parameters in microplastics research. Her work integrates geophysics, geochemistry, and environmental science through an interdisciplinary approach. She was awarded the Mieczysław Bekker NAWA Scholarship, under which she conducted research at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. She also completed a research internship at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) in Rome. In addition, she serves as an editor for Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), handling the evaluation and editorial processing of manuscripts in the fields of geophysics and environmental sciences.

Research area: environmental magnetism, environmental geochemistry, anthropogenic pollution (heavy metals, PAHs, microplastics), road dust, neural networks and machine learning for environmental data analysis, magnetic and physicochemical methods in environmental studies.
