Be invited to the first lecture in the “GeoPlanet Distinguished Lecture Series,” which will be delivered by Professor Donald Dingwell, titled “Geomaterials: From Experimental Geoscience to Geoengineering on the Moon.”
The event will take place on 12 May at 11:00 AM at the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Room 213.

Donald B. Dingwell is a world-renowned scientist and Professor of Mineralogy and Petrology at the University of Munich. He is known for his experimental research on silicate melts, magma, and volcanism. He is an author of around 600 publications.
He has received numerous international awards and honorary doctorates from UCL, the University of Alberta, and UNAM. He is a member of several prestigious scientific academies and has held key leadership roles in EGU, IAVCEI, Academia Europaea, and the European Research Council.
